MORE HOUSING IN STAPLEHURST?
Have your say!!

As you may be aware, the Local Development Framework process to respond to the Government's new housing targets up to 2020 is under way. Potential sites for houses have been identified and are currently being assessed for suitability on behalf of Maidstone Borough Council. Much information about the LDF process and documents filed to date is available at http://www.maidstone.gov.uk/planning__building_control/local_development_framework.aspx

There will be a public meeting on Monday 16th November at 8 p.m. in the South Hall, Staplehurst Village Centre (in place of the usual Full Council meeting) where local views will be invited regarding the currently proposed housing sites and the infrastructure that may be required to support them.

If you wish to attend on 16th November, please advise Sue Bassett, the Parish Clerk, by email at clerk@staplehurstvillage.org.uk
